This is a game designed and marketed to a younger audience, one that may be turned off by the intimidating size and scope of other games that we’ll talk about on this list. Once you get past that, however, the gameplay is relatively shallow. Its presentation is top-notch, and there’s no denying its charm. One of the easier Nintendo 64 games on Nintendo Switch Online, Yoshi’s Story is the perfect example of the type of game you’d want to rent rather than buy. Furthermore, the graphics were limited by the Nintendo 64 hardware. Sadly, the limitations of the N64 controller were evident the lack of a dual-stick control setup meant that the cover-based shooting wasn’t always effective. Throw Pester Balls at the water to the left of the whirlpool to cause Dratini to jump out. Also be vigilant and make sure to photograph Starmie as it flies away.Īs you approach the whirlpool, you have three primary actions to perform. Hit it again with a Pester Ball to make it swim into the waterfall and evolve into Gyarados. Remember that Magikarp from earlier? Well as soon as you reach the waterfall, look to your left and you will see it on the shore. Sandslash and Graveler are also hidden ahead, so repeat the process by knocking down the Geodude and Graveler will fall down, revealing the Sandslash. ![]() Knock them down with Pester Balls to get a better shot off Geodude, as well as Sandshrew. You'll soon see multiple Geodudes hanging onto the wall. Throw a Pester Ball at the spot where it is jumping to make it exit the water and get slapped away by a nearby Mankey. You will see a nearby Magikarp jumping out of the water ahead. Use Pokemon Food to lure them towards you, and snap as many as possible for maximum points. Hit as many as you can with Pester Balls to knock them onto land, where they will reveal themselves as Squirtles. As you begin the course, you will notice some shells floating alongside you. ![]()
